2nd July: DWT Group for youth sport with a cause

An important date to mark on the calendar is 2nd July, which sees the "Amici di Mattia" rugby tournament set up by young Padua rugby players in memory of the human and sporting qualities of their tragic friend Mattia Porro. It is a 6s rugby touch tournament, a non-contact variety of the sport. 24 teams will take part, the aim being to play and have fun together, while also raising money for charity. The memorial tournament takes place in the Memo Geremia rugby ground in via Gozzano in Padua.
