S4 - Only extra EU

Reduced flow rate and pressure

  • Check the direction of rotation
  • Check the state of wear of the pump
  • Check that the pipes are not clogged
  • Check for any leaks in the system

The pump does not distribute

  • Lowering of the water table
  • Check valve blocked
  • Pump clogged by impurities

The pump starts and stops frequently

  • Check operation of the check valve and the dimensions of the tank
  • Check for any leaks in the system
  • Check the pressure switch and the probes (if present)

The motor does not start

  • Dry running, if an electronic control unit with this function is present
  • Check that all the phases are present
  • Check that the motor is live

We recommend you read the instruction manual of the S4 (also available in our DNA software) for useful information for use, maintenance and installation.

The direction of rotation may be inverted only in three-phase pumps (therefore pumps powered at 400 volts). In single-phase pumps (230 volts) the motor always rotates in the correct direction. On three-phase motors, check the direction of rotation. The correct direction provides higher pressure. We recommend you read the instruction manual of the S4 (also available in our DNA software) for useful information for use, maintenance and installation.
