ADAC

From the main menu, hold down the "SET" and "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously until "FP" appears on the display (or use the selection menu by pressing + or -). The menu allows you to view and edit various configuration parameters: the MODE button allows you to scroll through the menu pages, the + and - buttons allow you, respectively, to increase and decrease the value of the parameter in question. To exit the current menu and return to the main menu press SET. We recommend you read the instruction manual of the ADAC (also available in our DNA software) for useful information on the use of the panel.

On correct completion of installation of the hydraulic and electrical system and after reading the entire manual (see the “installation” chapter in the instruction manual), the inverter can be powered up. Only in the case of initial power-up, after the initial presentation, does the display show the error condition "EC" with the message informing the user to set the parameters required for control of the electric pump; the inverter does not start up. To unlock the unit, simply set the rated current value of the electric pump used. Before start-up, if the system pump requires special settings other than the default versions, first make the modifications required and then set the rated current value, to ensure start-up with the correct settings. The parameters can be set at any time, but it is recommended to follow this procedure when the application is in operating conditions that may impair integrity of the system components, such as in the case of pumps with a minimum frequency limit or that do not tolerate certain dry running times etc.The following steps apply both in the case of systems with a single inverter and multi-inverter systems. In the case of multi inverter systems, the relative connections of sensors and communication cables must be made, after which one inverter at a time must be activated, performing the initial power-procedure for each. Once all inverters are configured, all multi-inverter system elements can be powered up. We recommend you read the instruction manual of the ADAC (also available in our DNA software) for useful information on the use of the panel.

Yes, you can. In the manual available here and in our DNA software there is a table showing the section that the cable must have in relation to the length and amperes to be supplied, this table is for single line power cable:

The instructions for connecting the pressure sensors to the ADAC inverter are included in the manual, which is also accompanied by a detailed technical diagram for the electrical connections. The manual can be downloaded here from our site or our here from our DNA software. The terminals for connecting the sensors are located in the center part and are accessible by removing the screw of the connection cover. The sensors must be connected to the appropriate inputs marked with the "Press" and "Flow" silkscreens as shown below:

ADAC come configurare il sensore di pressione

The inverter accepts two types of pressure sensor:

1. Raziometric 0 - 5V (Voltage Sensor to Connect to Press1 Connector)

2. Current 4 - 20 mA (Current Sensor to Connect to J5 Connector)

The pressure sensor is supplied with its own cable and the connection on the board changes according to the type of sensor used. Both types of sensor can be supplied.
