a) Normally the Smart Press is mounted directly on the delivery point of a surface pump: the device is connected with a 1" male connector, however it can be mounted at any point on the delivery piping (even on a submerged pump) in a vertical or horizontal position. Avoid applying check valves downstream from the appliance, whereas application upstream is recommended.

b) The Smart Press delivery should be connected to the water supply (1¼" female). It is recommended to use a flexible hose to prevent damage from tightening and/or vibration.

c) The standard model of Smart Press works correctly if the highest point of use is not higher than 15 meters. Change this value using the setting screw (dowel) on the front of the Smart Press. Turn the screw clockwise to increase the ignition value. Turn counterclockwise to reduce the ignition value.

d) Make sure that the pump primes perfectly by filling the body of the pump and suction hose with water. If the pump is going to be used with supply from a low level (well), always install a foot valve.

e) Perform electric connection observing the screen-printing on the electronic card located in front of the clamps.

THE PUMP JAMS: (red LED on) reset the priming and eliminate the cause of the failure to prime (suction leak, malfunctioning foot valve, tank without water, etc.). Then press the manual reset button, being careful not to run the pump without water to prevent damaging the seal and hydraulic part.

THE PUMP GOES ON AND OFF CONTINUOUSLY: find the leak in the delivery system and eliminate it.

THE EQUIPMENT IS COMPLETELY OFF (NO LlGHTS ON) AND WILL NOT START AGAIN: Check the power supply. If the board has been removed for replacement or for easier wiring, check if the flow sensor located in the rear part of the board is properly located in its housing in the main body, while carefully avoiding crushing the feet, which would cause the board to stop completely.

a)       Normalmente lo Smart Press viene montato direttamente sulla bocca di mandata di una elettropompa di superficie: l'attacco dell'apparecchio è da 1” maschio, può comunque venire montato in qualsiasi punto della tubazione di mandata (anche di elettropompa sommersa) in posizione sia verticale che orizzontale. Evitare di applicare valvola di non ritorno a valle dell’apparecchio, se ne raccomanda invece l’applicazione a monte.

b)      Collegare la mandata di Smart Press alla rete idrica (attacco da 1 ¼" femmina) è consigliato l’uso di un tubo flessibile, per evitare i danni conseguenti a tensioni e / o vibrazioni.

c)       Nella versione standard Smart Press funziona correttamente se il più alto punto di utilizzo non supera i 15 metri di altezza. Nel caso si voglia variare questo valore si può agire sulla vite di regolazione (grano) posto sotto il coperchio anteriore di Smart Press. Ruotando in senso orario si aumenta il valore di accensione. Ruotando in senso antiorario diminuisce il valore di accensione.

d)       Curare il perfetto adescamento della pompa, riempiendo d'acqua il corpo della stessa ed il tubo di aspirazione. In caso di funzionamento con prelievo da quota inferiore (da pozzo) installare sempre una valvola di fondo.

e)       Eseguire l'allacciamento elettrico rispettando la serigrafia riportata sulla scheda elettronica di fronte ai morsetti stessi

LA POMPA È IN BLOCCO (led rosso acceso): ripristinare l'adescamento ed eliminare la causa del disadescamento (perdite in aspirazione, valvola di fondo malfunzionante, serbatoio senz'acqua, ecc.). Successivamente premere il pulsante di reset manuale facendo attenzione a non far funzionare la pompa a secco per evitare danni alla tenuta ed alla parte idraulica.

LA POMPA SI ACCENDE E SI SPEGNE CONTINUAMENTE: individuare le perdite nella rete di mandata ed eliminarle.

L'APPARECCHIO RIMANE COMPLETAMENTE SPENTO (NESSUNA SPIA ACCESA): verificare l’alimentazione elettrica. Nel caso si sia smontata la scheda per sostituzione o per facilitare il cablaggio elettrico verificare che il sensore di flusso, posto nella parte posteriore della scheda, sia inserito correttamente nell'alloggio del corpo principale, evitando di schiacciare i reofori che provocano il blocco totale della scheda.

TWO FLASHES: circulator blocked/loss of control on phase. The pump will attempt a restart using algorithms to perform automatic unlocking. If unsuccessful, an error will be indicated. In this case, the user must perform the restart manually by pressing the on/off button.

THREE FLASHES: problems with the microprocessor or internal short circuit. Call the customer service.
