BIM is an English acronym that means "Bulding information modeling". In our case BIM means a file that can have different extensions, which can be used by designers to optimize the planning, implementation and management of building. Several software can handle BIM files, the most common being Autocad's Revit. The BIM file contains the parameters to render the object in 3D, including the overall dimensions, the electricity consumption and all the data necessary for its correct virtual representation.
