Believing in the talent of young people means investing in the future. With this in mind, DAB Pumps has decided to support the CNC Contest – Campionato italiano Tornitori 2019, the tour that through 12 recruiting days has selected the most promising youngsters of each territory, determined to challenge each other to win the title of best turner in Italy. The initiative, promoted by Randstad Technical, the specialty of Randstad dedicated to research, selection and management of qualified resources in the metalworking, metallurgical and electro-technical fields, was born in collaboration with Siemens Italia - technological partner - and Cnos-Fap, with godmother companies DAB Pumps and Salvagnini Italia. The objective of DAB is to turn the spotlight on a professional figure much in demand by companies but equally difficult to find on the market, with adequate qualifications and experience. In fact, the project aims to train "aspirants in the race" - even with a different educational background as long as they are strongly motivated to learn - to make them turners of tomorrow. Precisely for this reason, DAB will offer young people a training day on October, the 11th in its own factory in San Germano, in view of the ability test.

At the end of the training course, participants will be able to enter the stage on October, the 16th in San Bonifacio, where they will test themselves in programming a machine tool, using four computers with a Siemens simulator. The programmer who will reach the highest score will gain access to the final scheduled for November 27th and 28th at the Siemens Technology Center (TAC) in Piacenza, where he will compete with the best aspiring turners of the other cities involved, trying his hand at producing a turning piece. The final test will decide who is the best aspiring turner in Italy in 2019.

Credere nel talento dei giovani significa investire sul futuro. In quest’ottica DAB Pumps ha deciso di supportare il CNC Contest – Campionato Tornitori Randstad 2019, il tour che attraverso 12 recruiting day ha selezionato i giovani più promettenti di ogni territorio, decisi a sfidarsi per conquistare il titolo di miglior tornitore d’Italia. L’iniziativa, promossa da Randstad Technical, la speciality di Randstad dedicata a ricerca, selezione e gestione delle risorse qualificate in ambito metalmeccanico, metallurgico ed elettrotecnico, è nata in collaborazione con Siemens Italia – partner tecnologico – e Cnos-Fap, con aziende madrine DAB Pumps e Salvagnini Italia. Obiettivo di DAB è accendere i riflettori su una figura professionale molto richiesta dalle imprese ma altrettanto difficile da reperire sul mercato, con adeguate qualifiche ed esperienza. Il progetto mira infatti a formare gli “aspiranti in gara”- anche con un background scolastico differente purché fortemente motivati a voler imparare - per farli diventare i tornitori di domani. Proprio per questo, DAB offrirà ai giovani una giornata formativa l’11 ottobre nel proprio stabilimento a San Germano, in vista della prova di abilità. 

Al termine del corso di formazione, i partecipanti potranno accedere alla tappa del 16 ottobre a San Bonifacio, in cui si metteranno alla prova nella programmazione di una macchina utensile, utilizzando quattro computer con simulatore Siemens. Il programmatore che totalizzerà il punteggio più alto si guadagnerà l’accesso alla finale in programma il 27 e 28 novembre al Centro Tecnologico Siemens (TAC) di Piacenza, dove concorrerà con i più bravi aspiranti tornitori delle altre città coinvolte, cimentandosi nella lavorazione di un pezzo di tornitura. La prova conclusiva decreterà chi è il miglior aspirante tornitore d’Italia 2019.

The Company will accompany the Serie A1 Paduan team - Superlega and its supporters for the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 seasons. Thanks to this collaboration, the image of DAB will be combined with that of Pallavolo Padova and will benefit from visibility in all the sports halls where matches are played, actively supporting the various initiatives of the Paduan sports club. Starting on the 20th of October, the first date of the championship, DAB will embrace the authentic values of sport, consolidating once again the relationship with its own territory.

Once again among the protagonists of the Super League championship, the team in these years has obtained two victories in the A2 championship (2011 and 2014), won the A2 Italian Cup (2014) and access to the championship playoffs (2015/16 and 2018/19).
