Last September, DAB Pumps officially opened its new Australian branch in Melbourne. The branch has already completed its start-up stage and implemented its own development program, with the objective of soon becoming an organisation capable of operating on the local market in an independent and global manner.

All the logistic and administrative functions will be active starting from January 2017, and by the summer a warehouse stocked with materials will also be operational, therefore ensuring better service. The opening of DOC - DAB Oceania - is the result of a precise growth strategy of the group, aimed at supporting local customers and make the most of the opportunities that the market has to offer.

Inaugurata lo scorso settembre, la nuova filiale australiana DAB Pumps, con sede a Melbourne, ha già superato la fase iniziale di start-up e messo in atto il proprio programma di sviluppo con l’obiettivo di divenire in breve tempo una realtà in grado di operare sul mercato locale in maniera indipendente e globale.  Già dal prossimo gennaio 2017 tutte le funzioni logistiche e amministrative saranno attive, ed entro l’estate è previsto l’avvio del magazzino con stock di materiali così da garantire il migliore servizio. L’apertura di DOC – Dab Oceania – risponde a una precisa strategia di crescita del Gruppo, con l’obiettivo di supportare i clienti sul territorio e cogliere le opportunità del mercato.

To celebrate the Christmas period DAB has decided to support SAVE THE CHILDREN, an international non-profit organisation that since 1919 has been committed to safeguarding and supporting the rights of children all over the world.

The donation will be used for a SAVE THE CHILDREN international campaign, to ensure appropriate care, assistance and food to children all over the world, in addition to education opportunities. The campaign is specifically aimed at the following countries: Ethiopia, Mozambique, Malawi, Egypt, Nepal, India, and lastly Italy. A warm thank you to all those who have taken part in this important charity initiative, which like every year gives to DAB the opportunity of providing tangible support to all those that every day do all they can to help people in need.

DAB quest’anno in occasione del Natale, ha scelto di sostenere l’Associazione SAVE THE CHILDREN un’organizzazione Onlus internazionale dedicata dal 1919 a salvare e sostenere i diritti dei bambini di tutto il mondo.

Questa donazione sarà impiegata in una Campagna Internazionale di SAVE The Children per garantire ai bambini nel mondo cura, assistenza, cibo adeguato e opportunità educative. In particolare i paesi interessati alla campagna saranno Etiopia, Mozambico, Malawi, Egitto, Nepal, India ed infine Italia. Un ringraziamento a chiunque abbia aderito a questa importante iniziativa benefica, che come ogni anno offre a DAB l’opportunità di dare un aiuto concreto a tutti coloro che quotidianamente operano nel sociale.

Best Talent Hunter 2016 took place on 1st December 2016 at the Ancient Archive of the Bo Palace of the University of Padua.

The competition gives recognition to those companies that have distinguished themselves in promoting training and paths for the introduction in the job sector of students and/or graduates of the University of Padua.

Dab Pumps was awarded the title of best talent scout. Debora Guarino, Group HR Specialist, and Matteo Distratis, Group HR Officer - Stage & Internship Coordinator, received the following awards on behalf of DAB:

• Best company for intern satisfaction 2016
• Best company for number of internships offered 2016.
