Star connection
Type of electrical connection in the three-phase motors, the symbol for the star connection is Y. This connection decreases the voltage from the 400 V of the line to the 230 V on the windings. In a 230 V line it can also be used to further reduce the operating voltage and reduce the power consumption: a voltage across the windings will be equal to 155 V.
Collegamento a stella
Tipo di collegamento elettrico nei motori trifase, il simbolo per il collegamento a stella è Y. Questo collegamento permette di portare la tensione dai 400 V della linea ai 230 V sugli avvolgimenti. With Confindustria and Unismart to reinforce the technological transfer between university and enterprise- Category: Fairs and events
On Friday 18th at Aula Magna of Palazzo Bo it took place University-Industry Cooperation: entrepreneurial ideas and scientific excellence towards Horizon Europe.
The event sponsored by Confindustria Padua and Padua University-Unismart for the Padova Innovation Week was focused on the new “ecosystem” concerning the technological and knowledge transfer to small and medium industries.
To represent business field involved in innovation and research projects with university, there was for DAB Pumps Francesco Sinico, R&D Director, who took part to the debate together with other main business representatives of Padua area, like Ambiente Ufficio, Carel, Comunian Vini, TFM Group.
The event brought together the three main actors of “knowledge triangle” as university, Research Centers and Industries, to continue the common strategies path that aims to strengthen the connection between research and industry competitiveness, patents and PIL, for a better effectiveness of technological and knowledge transfer between university and industries.

Con Confindustria e Unismart per consolidare il transfer tecnologico tra Università e Impresa- Category: Fairs and events
Venerdì 18 maggio presso l’ Aula Magna di Palazzo Bo si è svolto Università - Impresa. Idee imprenditoriali ed eccellenze scientifiche verso Horizon Europe, l’evento promosso da Confindustria Padova e Università di Padova-Unismart nell’ambito di Padova Innovation Week, per fare il punto sul cantiere aperto di un «ecosistema» per il transfer tecnologico e di conoscenza alle Pmi.
A rappresentare il mondo impresa che collabora in progetti di innovazione e ricerca con l’Ateneo, c’era DAB PUMPS con Francesco Sinico, Responsabile R&D che ha preso parte alla tavola rotonda insieme ad altri cinque nomi di spicco del panorama industriale padovano come Ambiente Ufficio, Carel, Comunian Vini, TFM Group.
L’evento ha riunito gli attori del «triangolo della conoscenza» ossia università, centri di Ricerca, e imprese, per dare continuità al percorso di strategie comuni finalizzate al consolidare il “ponte” tra ricerca e competitività industriale, tra brevetti e Pil, migliorando l’efficacia del transfer tecnologico e di conoscenza tra università e imprese.

Safety Award 2017 to the DAB site of San Germano- Category: Company
The DAB production site of San Germano has been awarded the Safety Award 2017 for achieving the best EHS results (Environment, Health and Safety) in the DAB Group.
The site enjoys in fact the highest number of participants to the 2017 EHS Survery Let me know, and the lowest number of accidents recorded in 2017, as a confirmation of the consistently proactive approach and participation in all the safety related company activities.
The awarding ceremony took place on the 3rd of May 2018 in San Germano, where Diego Canevarollo, Plant Manager representing the workers, accepted the award in the presence of Sandro Stramare DAB Group CEO and other members of the company Board, like Paolo Menon DAB Group COO, Francesco Sinico DAB Group R&D Director, Elio Panesi DAB Group EHS Director and Simone Paoli DAB Group EHS Specialist.
During the safety walk around the site, DAB representatives had the opportunity of visiting the production departments and discuss with workers about safety in the workplace.
We will now have to wait until December 2018 to know which DAB site will reach the Safety Award 2018 podium.

You can make the difference - will accompany us for another 12 months, with the purpose of raising awareness and remembering each and every day the invaluable importance and the duty of everyone of contributing to the creation of a safe workplace.

Allo stabilimento DAB di San Germano il Safety Award 2017- Category: Company
Il sito produttivo DAB di San Germano ha vinto il premio Safety Award 2017 , per aver raggiunto i migliori risultati in ambito EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) all'interno del Gruppo DAB.
Lo stabile vanta infatti le numeriche più elevate di adesione alla Survey EHS 2017 “Let me know” ed il più basso numero di infortuni registrati sempre nel 2017, confermando una costante proattività e partecipazione verso tutte le attività intraprese dall’azienda in materia di sicurezza aziendale.
La cerimonia di premiazione si è svolta il 3 maggio 2018 a San Germano dove Diego Canevarollo _ Plant manager in rappresentanza dei lavoratori dello stabilimento ha ritirato il premio alla presenza dell’ Amministratore Delegato Sandro Stramare, insieme ad altri membri della direzione aziendale tra i quali Paolo Menon DAB Group COO, Francesco Sinico DAB Group R&D Director Elio Panesi DAB Group EHS Director e Simone Paoli Group EHS Specialst.
Durante la safety walk all’interno dello stabilimento, la rappresentanze DAB hanno visitato i compartimenti produttivi e dialogato con i lavoratori in tema di sicurezza sul lavoro.
Per capire quale sarà lo stabilimento del Gruppo DAB che salirà invece sul podio del Safety Award 2018 dovremo attendere Dicembre 2018.
