The installer menu is a menu that allows you to modify numerous pump operating parameters. Do not start the pump without having completely filled it with liquid. Before starting up, check that the pump is properly primed; fill it completely with clean water by means of the hole provided after having removed the filler cap on the pump body. This ensures that the mechanical seal is well lubricated and that the pump immediately starts to work regularly. Dry operation causes irreparable damage to the mechanical seal. Switch on the power and check, on the three-phase version, that the motor is turning in the correct direction; this should be in a clockwise direction, looking at the motor from the impeller side. If it is turning in the wrong direction, invert the connections of any two wires on the terminal board, after having disconnected the pump from the power mains.

When replacing the power cable, a cable of the same type must be used (e.g. H05 RN-F or H07 RN-F depending on the installation) and with the same terminals, proceeding as for disassembly in inverse order. ATTENTION: depending on the installation and if the pumps have no cable, fit supply cables type H05 RN-F for indoor use and type H07 RN-F for outdoor use, complete with plug (EN 60335-2-41). Il funzionamento a secco provoca danni irreparabili alla tenuta meccanica. Il tappo di carico dovrà poi essere riavvitato accuratamente.Prestare attenzione, l’elettropompa non deve essere sottoposta a più di 20 avviamenti per ora in modo da non sottoporre il motore a eccessive sollecitazioni termiche.

Ricordiamo che la sostituzione del cavo di alimentazione deve essere effettuata utilizzando un cavo dello stesso tipo (es.H05 RN-F o H07 RN-F a seconda dell’installazione) e avente la stessa terminazione, seguendo l’ordine di lavoro inverso allo smontaggio. ATTENZIONE: a seconda dell’installazione e in caso di pompe sprovviste di cavo, prevedere cavi di alimentazione tipo H05 RN-F per uso interno e tipo H07 RN-F per uso esterno, completi di spina (EN 60335-2-41). Before starting the pump, make sure that:

• the voltage and frequency specified on the pump’s data plate coincide with those of theavailable power supply;
• there are no signs of damage to the pump or its power cord;
• the electric connection is made in a dry place, protected against any risk of flooding;
• the electric system is complete with a residual current circuit-breaker (I ∆ ≤ 30 mA) and an efficient earthing connection;
• Any extension cords must comply with the requirements for electric safety.

In case of wells or if the pump is installed above the water level (above head), fill the pump casing and suction hose with clean water before starting the pump for the first time. Filling must be performed slowly until the water overflows; wait a few seconds to make sure that all the air has escaped and top up until the level has stabilized. If the pump is installed below the water level (below head), bleed the air from the pump casing by opening the filler cap. The pump will fill with water independently. Plug the pump into the socket, start the pump and wait for the water to exit. If water has not exited within 2-3 minutes from when the pump was switched on, turn the pump off and repeat the filling operation again.

The pump has protection against dry operation (anti-dry-run). In the absence of water, the pump switches off automatically after about 45 seconds. This is indicated by the red “Alarm” LED. To reactivate the pump, press the RESET key, after having restored the correct water flow. If the alarm status remains, or if the user does not intervene by restoring the flow of water and resetting the pump, the automatic reset will try to restart the pump after one hour, after 5 hours, after 20 hours, and then once every 24 hours. From the first intervention of the dry-running protection and until the pump resumes regular operation, the electronic display continues to signal the lack of water: red LED flashing with cycles of a flash and a pause. To reactivate the pump, press the RESET key, after having restored the correct water flow. The electronic display is set up to indicate other states:

Green Led (Power) lit: The pump is connected to the mains and is ready to supply water (as soon as a tap is turned on).

Yellow Led (Pump on) lit: the pump is supplying water.

Red Led (Alarm) flashing with cycles of 1 flash: the pump is not running due to lack of water in the suction line, the protection programme for dry running has been activated.

Prima di avviare la pompa verificate che:
•    Il voltaggio e la frequenza riportati sulla targhetta tecnica della pompa corrispondano ai dati dell’impianto elettrico di alimentazione.
•    Il cavo di alimentazione della pompa o la pompa non siano danneggiati.
•    Il collegamento elettrico deve avvenire in luogo asciutto, al riparo di eventuali allagamenti.
•    L’impianto elettrico sia provvisto di interruttore di protezione salvavita da I ∆ ≤ 30 mA e che l’impianto di terra sia efficiente.
•    Eventuali prolunghe devono essere conformi alla normativa vigente.
Prima del primo avviamento, in caso di pozzi o comunque di installazione della pompa ad un
livello superiore rispetto a quello dell’acqua (sopra-battente), riempire di acqua chiara il corpo
della pompa e il tubo di aspirazione. Il riempimento deve essere effettuato lentamente fino a
quando l’acqua non trabocca; attendere qualche secondo che fuoriesca tutta l’aria e rabboccare fino a quando il livello si stabilizza.
Nel caso in cui la pompa sia invece installata ad un livello inferiore rispetto a quello dell’acqua
(sotto-battente), far fuoriuscire l’aria dal corpo della pompa aprendo il tappo di carico. La pompa si riempie d’acqua autonomamente.
Inserire la spina nella presa. Avviare la pompa e attendere la fuoriuscita dell’acqua. Nel caso in cui, passati 2-3 minuti dall’accensione, l’acqua non fuoriesca, spegnere la pompa e ripetere
nuovamente l’operazione di caricamento.

La pompa ha una protezione contro il funzionamento a secco della pompa (anti-dry-run). In mancanza d'acqua la pompa si disinserisce automaticamente dopo circa 45 secondi. Questo viene indicato dal led rosso "Alarm". Per riattivare la pompa premere il tasto RESET, dopo aver ripristinato il corretto afflusso di acqua. Se permane lo stato di allarme, ovvero l’utente non interviene ripristinando l’afflusso d’acqua e resettando la pompa, il reset automatico prova a riavviare la pompa dopo un’ora, dopo 5 ore, dopo 20 ore e successivamente una volta ogni 24 ore. Dal primo intervento della protezione contro la marcia a secco e fin quando la pompa non riprende il funzionamento regolare, il display elettronico continua a segnalare la mancanza di acqua: led rosso lampeggiante con cicli di un flash e una pausa. Per riattivare la pompa premere il tasto RESET, dopo aver ripristinato il corretto afflusso di acqua.

Il display elettronico è predisposto per segnalare altri stati:

Led verde (Power) acceso: La pompa è collegata alla rete elettrica ed è pronta per erogare acqua (non appena viene aperto un rubinetto).

Led giallo (Pump on) acceso: la pompa sta erogando acqua.

Led rosso (Alarm) lampeggiante con cicli da 1 flash: la pompa non funziona per mancanza d’acqua in aspirazione, è intervenuto il programma di protezione per la marcia a secco.

Our Garden Jet, Garden Inox, Garden Com selfpriming centrifugal pumps are Jet, JetInox, JetCom pumps with some assembled accessories as a standard feature, so please refer to the respective manuals (and their FAQ) for additional information. It is always good practice to position the pump as close as possible to the liquid to be pumped. The pump must be installed exclusively in horizontal position. The pipes must never have an internal diameter smaller than that of the pump inlets and it is advisable to install a foot valve on the suction side. For suction depths of more than four metres or with considerable horizontal paths, it is advisable to use a suction pipe with a diameter greater than that of the suction mouth of the pump. To avoid the formation of air pockets in the suction pipe, provide a slight positive slope of the suction pipe towards the pump. If the suction pipe is made of rubber or flexible material, always check that it is of the reinforced type to avoid shrinkage due to suction. In all the pumps intended for the portable version, the handle for lifting and transporting must always be present and well fixed to the support. For pumps intended for use in outdoor fountains, garden ponds and similar places, the pump must be supplied by means of a circuit with a differential current device, the rated differential operating current of which does not exceed 30 mA.

Le tubazioni non devono mai essere di diametro interno inferiore a quello delle bocche dell’elettropompa e in aspirazione si consiglia di installare una valvola di fondo. Per profondità di aspirazione oltre i quattro metri o con notevoli percorsi in orizzontale, è consigliabile l’impiego di un tubo di aspirazione di diametro maggiore di quello della bocca aspirante dell’elettropompa. Per evitare il formarsi di sacche d’aria nel tubo di aspirazione, prevedere una leggera pendenza positiva del tubo di aspirazione verso l’elettropompa. Se la tubazione aspirante fosse in gomma o in materiale flessibile, controllare sempre che sia del tipo rinforzato per evitare restringimenti per effetto dell’aspirazione. In tutte le pompe previste per la versione portatile la maniglia per il sollevamento ed il trasporto deve essere sempre presente e ben fissata al supporto.Per le pompe destinate ad essere utilizzate nelle fontane per uso esterno, nei bacini da giardino ed in luoghi similari, la pompa deve essere alimentata per mezzo di un circuito munito di un dispositivo a corrente differenziale, la cui corrente differenziale di funzionamento nominale non sia superiore a 30 mA.
